Stop the presses!

Hold the phone! There's a new Top Chef in town.

Beginning June 10 on Bravo 24 "Master" chefs will compete against each other for money to be donated to the charity of their choice, and I will definitely be there. No Bourdain as of yet, but I think we can practically guarantee he'll work his way in somehow.

I'm going to need a confirmation on Anthony Bourdain before I commit this show to my DVR. You know how I feel about Top Chef.

Sounds like fun!

I've eaten at Campanile that Mark Peel owns and is executive chef. Other than that I've only heard of another three or four of the other chefs.

Live a little, Heidi. If it's good enough for The Bourdain to guest judge (repeatedly!) then it's good enough for Tivo.

I recognized several from either Foodnetwork or Top Chef. I think it's going to be awesome to see how they work and what they come up with. Can't wait!

I'm looking forward to Rick Bayless, I've always enjoyed him over the years on the telly.

I've heard of Jar (Susan Tracht) in Los Angeles for a long time now but I've never heard of Ludo Bites (can't recall his last name?) in Los Angeles, so it'll be fun to see some local chefs.

I saw there's a San Diego chef Heidi, have you been to their restaurant? I know it's not Bourdain but hurray for the home team and all. :)
